My Britain's Got Talent 2010 Audition

Just got back from the N.E.C in Birmingham after my britain's got talent audition! Performed 'black horse and a cherry tree' by 'kt tunstall' with a guitar, a microphone, a loop pedal and my voice. Went pretty well. Decided to apply for the audition in september and had no idea what I would do on a show like this. Wanted to do something that got my creative juices flowing, so trying to come up with an act certainly did this!

Who knows, if i get through, i will be performing in front of Mr Cowell in February! fingers x'd!

Play With Your Food (Cans).

My response to an RSA brief (sustainable metals) aimed at promoting the use of tin cans in food packaging. I decided to promote the idea of recycling by creating new objects out of tin cans (in this case a tine can telephone) these items are designed to be posted to design companies to encourage them to choose cans when deciding on packaging.

Small Talk

A resolution to a design brief called 'Truth/Fiction". I looked into small talk, and how we use often meaningless conversation to fill awkward silences.

I designed an installation for a gallery space where people can enter an empty waiting room and listen to the small talk that would occur if it were to be full
